What we do
Three things, done properly
We deliberately kept the list short. Everything below is done on our own machines, in our own workshop, by the two of us — nothing is sent away.
Base & edge work
Stone grinding, structure, side and base edge angles set to what you actually ski. Deep gouges get a proper P-Tex weld, not a candle drip.
Mounting & testing
Drilling and mounting for alpine, touring and hybrid bindings, with a release check on the bench and a printed test sheet you keep.
Touring setups
Skis, skins, boots, poles and a transceiver–shovel–probe set. Everything is serviced between rentals, not once a season.

The bench
A wax job is not a car wash
Most shops run skis through a machine, scrape them warm and hand them back in eleven minutes. We don't, because a base that hasn't cooled hasn't absorbed anything.
Our wax goes on hot, sits overnight, and gets scraped and brushed cold the next morning. That is the whole reason our turnaround is two days instead of one afternoon — and the reason people keep coming back in March when the snow turns to soup.
If you need skis for tomorrow morning, say so when you drop them off. We will tell you honestly whether we can do a good job in the time available.

Rental
Gear that has been up something
Our touring fleet is small on purpose — 34 setups, all of them things we ski ourselves. You will not be handed a five-season-old ski with a dead skin and a shrug.
- Skins re-glued and tested before every hand-out
- Boots heat-fitted at no extra cost if you take three days or more
- Avalanche kit included with every touring package
- Free swap within 24 hours if the ski isn't right for you

What people say
Three of the nicer ones
“Brought in a pair I was ready to throw away. They welded the base, reset the edges, and the skis are better than when I bought them.”
Katrin — Innsbruck“Rented a touring setup for four days over Easter. The skins actually stuck. That sounds like a low bar until you have rented elsewhere.”
Milan — Brno“Markus talked me out of the expensive service and did a €22 wax instead. I have been going back for six years because of that conversation.”
Sophie — MunichDrop-off
Skis in by Wednesday, back by Friday
The workshop is on Höttinger Au, five minutes from the Hungerburg funicular. You can leave skis outside opening hours in the box by the door — there is a form and a pencil on a string.
